Traci Willis
Chief Executive Officer
Traci is an east Tennessee native who graduated with a bachelor’s degree in organizational management from Tusculum College. A 16-year HealthSouth veteran, Traci most recently as the regional director of operations for the company’s Mid-Atlantic Region until relocating to the Memphis area in June 2006. Traci also is a member of the West Tennessee Arthritis Foundation Board of Directors.

Dale P. Cunningham,
Medical Director
Dr. Cunningham is a board certified physiatrist who has been the medical director at HealthSouth Rehabilitation Hospital since its opening in 1994. He received his undergraduate and medical degrees from the University of Tennessee, completed his medical internship at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus, Ohio, and his physical medicine and rehabilitation residency at Ohio State University. Dr. Cunningham is a member of the American Academy of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, the American Medical Association and a delegate of the Tennessee Medical Association.

Toni Wackerfuss, OTR
Director of Therapy Operations
Toni graduated from the University of Tennessee in 1994 with a bachelor’s degree in occupational therapy and began her clinical career at HealthSouth Rehabilitation Hospital of Memphis immediately following graduation. She was promoted to director of therapy operations in 1998. Toni received her Certification in Treatment of Adults with Hemiplegia through NDTA in 1997 and serves on the HealthSouth National Clinical Advisory Board.

Lee Ann Davis
DMO
Lee Ann is an Arkansas native who graduated from the University of Central Arkansas with a bachelor’s degree in 1985. Lee Ann brings over 12 years of healthcare experience to HealthSouth Rehabilitation Hospital. Before joining HealthSouth in December of 2008, Lee Ann was the Business Development Director for a Children and Adolescent residential treatment facility in Memphis, TN. She is an active member of The Professional Network on Aging.

Phylis Buck
Chief Financial Officer
Phylis brings more than 20 years of managerial accounting experience to HealthSouth Rehabilitation Hospital. Before joining HealthSouth in March 2007, Phylis was the director of finance for the Memphis Theological Seminary. She recently received her executive master’s degree in business administration from the University of Memphis.

Bruce Pond
Director of Plant Operations
Bruce, a New Hampshire native, relocated to the Memphis area in July 2006. He worked in the private engineering and plant operations sector before making the move to health care in 1986. Bruce brings more than 20 years of expertise in hospital plant operations management and safety to HealthSouth Rehabilitation Hospital. He holds a current journeyman electrician license and is a member of the Shelby County Regional Hospital Disaster Planning Council.

Olivia Johnson, RN,
Director of Quality/Risk Management
Olivia has more than 15 years of experience in health care, including critical care, education, performance improvement and clinical and regulatory affairs. She received a bachelor’s degree in nursing from the University of Southern Mississippi and a master’s degree in nursing from Union University. She is a Six Sigma Black Belt and currently is pursuing a doctorate in health administration. Professional affiliations include the National Association for Healthcare Quality and the Tennessee Nurses Association.

Leigh Savage, CMSW
Director of Case Management
Leigh received both her undergraduate and master’s degrees in social work from the University of Tennessee. She started her career in social work at Methodist University Hospital’s rehabilitation unit before transitioning to HealthSouth Rehabilitation Hospital in 1994. She was promoted to director of case management in 2002. Leigh also serves as the National Case Management Advisory Board representative for the Mid-Atlantic Region.

Sandra Milburn
Director of Human Resources
Sandra has 15 years of experience in human resources, nine of which are with HealthSouth of Memphis. She graduated from the University of Memphis with a bachelor’s degree in management. Sandra is a Tennessee Technology Nursing School Advisory Board member, a member of the West Tennessee Human Resource Society and a volunteer for Safe Kids of Memphis.

Cynthia Snipes, RN
Chief Nursing Officer
Cynthia received an associate’s degree in nursing from Arkansas Northeastern College in 1992. During her 11 years of experience as a clinical nurse, Cynthia worked in many areas such as medical/surgical, oncology, neurological and orthopedics. She started her management career as a nurse manager at HealthSouth in 2003 and was promoted to chief nursing officer in 2006.
